We performed a gut rehab remodel and third story addition to this 1922 San Francisco Edwardian home in 2008-2009. Eco+Historical specified all of the finishes, interior design details and systems and collaborated with Richardson Architects on the floor plans.

This 1922 Edwardian underwent an extensive rehabilitation in 2008-2009 to transform it from a pleasant but drab 3BR/2BA to a 4BR/4BA contemporary family home. A playful multi-color green color scheme was used to try to accentuate the original detailing on the front of the home while making the home a bit brighter and more energized than it was in its original "russet potato" color. A new roof deck in the front brings indoor-outdoor living to the new Master Bedroom. Built with green materials like FSC lumber and VOC-free insulation, this house was rebuilt before the US Green Building Council allowed LEED certification of existing homes.
